Frozen Food Drive – Can You Cook A Backup Meal?

As you may be aware, each Sunday evening we bring in a bus load of people from Dorothy Day to receive a home-cooked meal before church (and also have meals each Tuesday evening during our Discovery Bible Study.)  Sometimes, we are able to get teams to sign up to bring a meal, but at other times, we are vacant of a group on a Sunday and a couple of us scramble to put together a full meal to serve our guests.  We would appreciate having backup meals available in our freezer in order to reheat to provide our group of 60-100.

Would you consider providing back-up meals and/or dishes?

If so, we’d love EXTRA LARGE aluminum containers of any form of hot dish, lasagna, potatoes, and other items that will freeze and reheat well.  Please LABEL the dish on top so that we know what’s in it.

We can arrange for a drop off site in Lakeville/Apple Valley area or at Breakthrough in Minneapolis.

This would be a great project for a small group ministry.

Email us or call to arrange! (  612-568-3850)
