Less Is More – Changes Are Here For Breakthrough Volunteers

Less Work is More!

With our move to the Historic Wesley Center in Minneapolis, we had to make some radical changes to be able to serve the growing population of people coming into our building each Sunday evening for the weekly Community Meal.  So, in order to do this, we’ve brought on Chef Neal Meier on staff.  Neal has already been a tremendous blessing by bringing in a team with him each week to plan, purchase, and prepare our Sunday meals and they have been absolutely fabulous!  Our participants are eating in style!

What that means for you as a volunteer…

No longer are teams required to plan and prepare the weekly meals, which we know relieves a whole lot of headaches!  Teams are now blessed to be able to serve our tables family style.  Our servers are assigned a table or two and serve our participants just like in a restaurant, which gives us more individual contact with a few individuals and gives them a sense of worth and value.

We’re super excited for this change!  But, we need your help!

We need teams each Sunday to give our guests the best experience possible, showing them that they are cared for and loved by God and by others.

NEW SHORTER TIME COMMITMENT:  4:30 – 6:00 pm

Please consider gathering a small group of your friends, neighbors, co-workers, small group, sport group booster club, church youth group, or others and sign up for an upcoming Sunday at our new downtown location.  You won’t regret stepping up and serving.  You will be a huge blessing to us!
