Words can’t describe the way I feel. I was so blessed to serve the Lord on Tuesday evening with Jim, Janie, George, and Joshua. We handed out warm meal leftovers from Sunday to the homeless along with caramel apples and birthday cake from George (via Pastor Joy).
We prayed with many – but one man stood out. His name is Jeremiah. When I looked his way, he just smiled like we were old friends. Then he told me he was looking for a home church where he could worship God with other believers. He didn’t know that I was a Pastor and when he found out, he said “What? For real? You are a Pastor and you are out here doing street ministry?” I was not sure how to take that – but, he was so happy. Pray we see him this Sunday.
Thanks to all who prayed for us tonight. If you would like to serve the homeless this Sunday or any Sunday at the Breakthrough community meal – check our our volunteer page. Also, we are having our Grand Opening on Sunday – November 13th from 5 – 9pm. We would love to see you come and see what God is doing through this ministry.
