Intimacy with God as the Path to Personal Breakthroughs

This short week seals our journey with two truths—intimacy matures and endures. Let’s linger here.
2 Peter 3:18 urged: “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” Peter, seasoned by failure and grace, calls us deeper. “Grace” is favor; “knowledge” is knowing Him. We stagnate—intimacy presses on. Paul grew through trials (Philippians 3:10). Growth isn’t instant—it’s daily, a vine bearing fruit.
Lamentations 3:22 assured: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end.” Jeremiah wrote in ashes—yet saw love unshakeable. “Never ceases” is eternal—we falter, He doesn’t. Verse 23 adds, “They are new every morning.” David sang it (Psalm 23:6); Jesus lived it. Every step led here—unfailing love.
Going Deeper: Intimacy’s fruit endures. Philippians 1:6 says, “He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Growth and love aren’t fleeting—they’re forever. Deeper? This journey isn’t done. Hebrews 12:1-2 calls us to “run with endurance,” eyes on Jesus. Your breakthrough is ongoing—abide in His love. Psalm 16:11 says, “In your presence there is fullness of joy”—that’s the promise. From nearness to overflow, intimacy lasts beyond April—into eternity.
Application: Reflect: “Where have I grown?” Read Psalm 16. Pray, “Keep me in Your love.” Step forward—study, rest, love. Intimacy endures.
Question: How will you grow in His enduring love moving forward?
