How do you feel that your experience at Breakthrough has equipped you to go out and be the hands and feet of Jesus?

Breakthrough has opened my heart and my mind to better communication with people about the lord.  I’ve learned to talk about the Lord and openly pray.  Talking to people about problems and issues,  talking to police officers.  I love feeding and caring for everyone. It is a blessing to have served with this ministry over the past decade.

Has your experience with Breakthrough Ministries inspired you to do ministry differently? If yes, please tell us how you did ministry before your Breakthrough experience and how it is different now.

Before Breakthrough, I was like most people.  Church on Sunday only and very little thought about anything the rest of the week.  Now, I volunteer as much as possible. The lord is a constant thought; my prayers are endless. I will talk to everyone I meet about Breakthrough.

What would you say to them if you could share one thing with someone who has never experienced Breakthrough Ministries or might be on the fence about volunteering with us?

I talk to them about the importance of what we do.  Not just about the meal,  although that is important, but mostly connecting with them,  listening to our guests.  Making them feel important and wanted.  Praying for them.  This not only helps them but helps you knowing that you are opening someone’s eyes to the lord.
