How do you feel that your experience at Breakthrough has equipped you to go out and be the hands and feet of Jesus?

Breakthrough Ministries has given me the opportunity to have not only a deeper faith and relationship to God, but it also has given me the confidence and understanding to be myself. Breakthrough taught me that it’s okay to be yourself, to bring what you have to the “table, “ and not to be ashamed of your personality! Breakthrough Ministries has given me the opportunity to show my love to God and spread his wonderful message to build up his kingdom through making sandwiches, feeding underserved communities, and praying for people.

I grew up in a Catholic household and always have wanted that close relationship with God, and with the help of breakthrough ministries, my faith has been so much stronger, and it has led me to strengthen. My soul! This is an amazing group of people who want to do good with the Lord’s help! Breakthrough Ministries is a gift from God!

Has your experience with Breakthrough Ministries inspired you to do ministry differently? If yes, please tell us how you did ministry before your Breakthrough experience and how it is different now. 

Before breakthrough ministries, it was easy to pass underserved communities or people and just offer them food; now I can say that I have prayed with a teen who god called me to. Breakthrough inspired and equipped me to do that.

What would you say to them if you could share one thing with someone who has never experienced Breakthrough Ministries or might be on the fence about volunteering with us? 

IT WILL CHANGE YOU LIFE! Your soul will fill with God’s love, you just have to trust that he will carry you through this experience…
